AN IDEAL PLACE FOR SCIENTIFIC EXCHANGES AND MEETINGS
The CIERA Franco-German summer school is organised every two years in the heart of Normandy, far from the usual research situations. It is open to young researchers to step back from their work and to multiply exchanges and meetings.
The CIERA summer schools are aimed at young researchers in the humanities and social sciences (PhD students and post-docs, and possibly master’s degree students) wishing to share and exchange their thoughts and experiences in an interdisciplinary and Franco-German setting.
The proposed themes bring together a wide spectrum of disciplines to best cross scientific approaches.
Group work sessions, individualised tutoring sessions with confirmed researchers, as well as space left for informal exchanges, promote scientific dialogue between different generations of researchers.
Over the years, the educational approaches, the passionate debates and the warm atmosphere have made the summer school a must for the CIERA community.
